Stay at Tenuta Di Monaciano in Ponte A Bozzone

Tenuta di Monaciano is a 235-hectare estate between 200 and 320 m above sea level, with woods, vineyards, olive groves, sown fields and a lake. The estate's vineyards extend over 60 hectares. Two outdoor pools are available to farmhouse guests during the summer season, and guests also have BBQ facilities, a picnic area, a sun terrace and outdoor furniture. Pets are allowed on the property.

Four ancient farmhouses, each on a hilltop, house the farmhouse flats. The Villa has double rooms with private bathroom and entrance from the golden marble staircase, and accommodates up to 25 people. The property has 22 rooms across the farmhouses and the Villa.

Guests can walk or cycle approximately 10 kilometres of white roads among olive trees, vineyards and woods. Bicycle rental and hiking are available on the estate. Cooking classes teach Tuscan cooking, guests can taste Chianti Classico and extra virgin olive oil from the farm, and children have open spaces and equipped places for their enjoyment. Babysitting and child services are available.

Siena is 4 km from the estate, and the Centro Guide Senesi organises a free visit of the city every Tuesday. The estate sits at the entrance to the Chiantigiana Road; along the route are Castellina in Chianti, Radda in Chianti, Gaiole in Chianti and Greve in Chianti. Florence, Pienza, San Gimignano, Volterra and Arezzo are nearby, and the closest airports are Pisa Galileo Galilei and Florence Peretola. The closest train station is in Siena, reachable by taxi in a few minutes.

The Villa's salons and the three acres of English Garden create the setting for events, special stays and weddings. The grassy amphitheatre, surrounded by secular trees and marble statues, sits in the Villa gardens. The old Limonaia stores lemon trees during winter, and the 18th-century greenhouse stores hundreds of plants and flowers from all over the world.
