The Hotel Radar stands on the green hill of Santa Lucia in the Tuscan province of Massa Carrara, at 360 metres above sea level. From the terrace, guests see the Apuan Alps, the white marble quarries of Carrara, the Ligurian Sea, and on clear days the islands of the Tuscan archipelago and Corsica. Lucca, Pisa and Florence are less than an hour by car, while the beaches of Marina di Carrara, Marina di Massa and Marinella are a 20-minute drive away.

The hotel has 7 rooms: one connected room with a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, three rooms with a panoramic terrace overlooking the sea, one room with a partial sea view, and two triple rooms. The property also has family rooms and free parking. Guests have access to an outdoor fireplace, outdoor furniture, a terrace and a shared lounge/TV area.

The restaurant serves traditional cuisine with local products and a sea view through large windows, using vegetables and aromatic herbs from the private garden. Guests choose a single dish or a complete menu, and chef Daniel's dishes include Colonnata lard, handmade pasta such as tordelli alla carrarina, lasagnette and tagliolini, sliced beef and grilled beef. Happy hour, themed dinner nights, kids' meals, special diet menus, wine and champagne are also available.

Guided tours can be arranged to the Carrara marble quarries or into the Apuan Alps. The hotel offers beach service with umbrellas and deckchairs at a partner beach resort in Marina di Carrara. Guests can also visit the historical centre of Carrara, the Marble Museum, the ancient Roman city of Luna, the Cinque Terre, Portovenere, Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio.

The hotel has a bar, a coffee house on site, a snack bar, and breakfast can be served in the room.
