Stay at Fattoria Di Cinciano in Poggibonsi

Fattoria di Cinciano is a 900-year-old former monastery and village converted into a hotel, set among vineyards and olive groves in the Chianti region. The estate produces its own olive oil and wine, which guests can taste on site. Rooms in the main building feature frescoed ceilings 12 to 14 feet high, while many apartments include a kitchenette with a microwave.

The on-site restaurant Osteria 1126 is a Michelin-recommended dining venue serving Tuscan cuisine and estate wines. A continental breakfast with homemade cakes, croissants, and hot drinks is served daily. Guests can book a wine tour with the winemaker, followed by a tasting of three glasses paired with an antipasti board for €19.50.

Two outdoor swimming pools offer panoramic views of the Tuscan hills, with separate shallow ends for children. The pool area is equipped with sun loungers, beach chairs, and umbrellas, but there is no waiter service. Pool towels are provided, and the pools close at 19:00 each evening.
