Stay at Fattoria Casagrande in Rignano Sull Arno

Fattoria Casagrande occupies a restored 14th-century farmhouse among vineyards and olive groves in Valdarno. The property is an agriturismo and winery with 8 apartments, a private villa and a swimming pool overlooking the vineyards. Its hilltop location sits a short drive from the A1 Florence-Incisa Valdarno motorway exit, with Florence, Siena, Chianti and Valdarno within easy reach.

All 8 apartments include equipped kitchens, air conditioning, LED TV, hairdryer and weekly linen changes. The Sagrantino one-bedroom apartment occupies two floors, the Grechetto and Vernaccia deluxe units have two bathrooms, and the Barbera standard unit is a ground-floor two-bedroom apartment. Superior units Brunello, Lambrusco, Morellino and Verdicchio have one or two bedrooms, while Villa Bardolino is an independent three-floor villa with a private veranda, a garden overlooking the vineyards and a top-floor suite with a circular bed.

The farm sits on a hill in Valdarno, surrounded by vineyards and olive groves, with Florence, Arezzo, Siena, Chianti and the Valdarno area within easy reach. The reception organizes excursions to nearby Florence and Siena, trekking, quad biking, hot air balloon rides and more. Guests can book tours and food and wine experiences from the farm.
