Stay at Castello Di Casole, A Belmond Hotel, Tuscany in Casole d'Elsa

Castello Di Casole is set within over 25 acres of organic vineyards that supply its exclusive private-label wines. The property includes a heated infinity pool with a view over the Tuscan landscape, surrounded by sun loungers and umbrellas. Two on-site restaurants, a bar, and the Essere Spa are located within the restored medieval castle complex, along with a fitness center and tennis court.

Rooms and suites feature elegant Tuscan decor, minibars, satellite TV, and air conditioning. Bathrooms include Carrara marble or mosaic flooring, Italian-design freestanding bathtubs, and antique mirrors. Some accommodations are in separate buildings 50 to 200 metres from the main castle, offering more privacy.

Guests dine at two restaurants: Tosca, serving traditional and innovative Tuscan cuisine, and Emporio, a more casual option with pizza and local dishes. A daily sweet and savory continental breakfast buffet is served, featuring fresh pastries and local cheeses. The bar offers a range of wines and cocktails, with drinks like Bellini cocktails and a rhubarb liqueur.

The Essere Spa provides a range of treatments including massages, facials, body scrubs, and access to a steam room, hot tub, and spa lounge. Guests can join complimentary guided hikes, cooking classes, and wine tastings, or rent bicycles for self-guided tours. Truffle hunting excursions with trained dogs and pizza-making lessons are also offered on the property.

The hotel is 9 km from Casole d'Elsa and a 1-hour drive from Florence, with easy access to historic villages such as San Gimignano and local wineries in Chianti.
